Soaring to San Francisco
The LaVilla Chamber Orchestra Heads to the 2026 ASTA National Orchestra Festival
In February 2026, the LaVilla School of the Arts Chamber Orchestra will travel to San Francisco, California to perform at the American String Teachers Association (ASTA) National Orchestra Festival – one of the most prestigious showcase for school string ensembles in the country.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Our middle school ensemble is one of only a few nationwide selected to represent their school, their city, and their state on this national stage.
We’re proud to show the country what Duval County students can achieve through dedication, discipline, and the power of music education.
